Hello, this is your
website author, writer, recovering Borderline and
30+-year recovering alcoholic making a direct commentary
to whomever reads this website. Advertised at the
very top of the home page of this website is a
meditation book, entitled "Prepare for the Harvest".
I authored and published this book in November 2011.
I have lived and breathed this disorder, and needed to
do something to help myself, and ultimately help others
battling this disorder. This book is a year and a
half of "service work", which is essential in anyone's
recovery from anything. I needed to "carry the
message" to those who suffer from the enigma and horror
of of this personality disorder.
I have sold a fair number of "hard-copies" of this book.
I offer the hard-copy format currently for $17.99
through LuLu books at the following link:
http://bit.ly/n6tla7.
(That's $.05 per day! A nickel a day for some
recovery advice from another sufferer!!)
The book is
also offered in ebook format for Nook at Barnes & Noble
here:
http://bit.ly/yH6Hb7.
Through Smashwords, other ebook formats such as
epub, mobi, pdf, rtf, lrf, pdb, txt, html
may be found at the following link:

All ebook formats are just $0.99 in price. So the
choice is yours. I have found, however, that in
all the meditation books I currently own, I own them in
hard-copy format. I am very much a part of the
digital-virtual world we live in (or I wouldn't be in
web-design). Sometimes getting knowledge,
self-help or instructions for living from a real-live
book has a tendency to reach a deeper part of nyself
where it takes better hold. I don't know why.
Each of the 366 entires (1 for each day of the year, and
for the date Feb. 29th every four years), has a topic of
addiction recovery, (drug or alcohol primarily), or a
topic concerning Borderline Personality Disorder.
The meditation book was targeted in part for those with
an addiction disorder and BPD. Reading the
statistics I have cited in this Webquest on BPD, one can
see that addiction very often accompanies Borderline
Personality Disorder. If an person gets clean and
sober from the addiction, often times BPD is later
diagnosed after it rears its ugly head after the person
has been sober awhile. The addiction merely helped
the person manage their BPD characteristics without
knowing what they were.
I have been to treatment centers promoting the book as a
tool to help the recovering person. I have given
the book away to those who could not afford the
outlay...especially those newly-released from
incarceration. Addiction and mental illness takes
hostages, and does not discriminate between
socio-economic classes. This website: a webquest
for understanding the Borderline Personality Disorder,
along with the book "Prepare for the Harvest" were
efforts I made to help myself and help others.
I can be reached on the "Contact" section under "Topics
Covered" on the Main page. If you are an addict
and/or a Borderline, trying out the meditation book may
be a very useful daily tool for you. |
